1.) Firstly, get very clear on what you want from your business.
Write down how many cakes you want to sell per week and how much money you want to make.
Then decide HOW you are going to make it happen.
2.) You will get more efficient (even selfish) with your time.
What do I mean by this?
Wake up earlier, be organised, so you can decorate while the kids are sleeping OR only go on Facebook in the last 30 minutes before bed.
We all have 24 hours in the day. Make the absolute most out of every minute/hour.
3.) Let your passion push past your fear.
You love cake.
Yes, you will feel afraid, anxious, unsure. But go back to the truth.
You love cake.
4.) Ask for help.
Ask mum to babysit, get a house cleaner, get your partner to cook dinner 3 times a week.
You can have it all. You just can’t do it all.
It is okay to ask for help. It actually means you are strong, not weak.
5.) One step at a time.
By putting one foot in front of the other, create movement. Movement creates momentum.
Staying exactly where you are, nothing changes.
6.) The most rewarding things in life were never easy.
Remember all the greatest obstacles you have had in your life. Did you come out the other side stronger? smarter? braver? better?
Feel the fear & do it anyway.
7.) You can do it.
More than anything, I want you to know this. I believe in you. You have got this.
Tell yourself, every, single day, ”I freaking got this”.
8.) And sometimes you will feel like giving up. Don’t.
There will always be hurdles which are designed to make us want it more.
So strive harder.
And the reward will be sweeter.

Hi there and thanks so much for your comment! I’m so happy that you’ve found it helpful so far! I don’t have any video tutorials on edible color for chocolates, however, I can give you a few tips! Tip #1 is that you can use pre-colored candy melts (confectionary coating) if you can find them in your area (some brands include Wilton, and my favorite is Sweet Tooth Fairy). Tip #2: If you are starting with white chocolate, you will need to use oil-based food coloring, as liquid or gel coloring is water-based and will cause the white chocolate to seize (be lumpy and unusable). I do offer a subscription-based online course called “Cake Biz Bootcamp” which teaches you the business side of baking from starting your business to growing it!! You can check it out at this link: https://cakebusinessschoolllc.vipmembervault.com/
There are 3 different membership levels to choose from. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at cakebusinessschool@gmail.com
