This buttercream icing is quick, easy and delicious! When I want a sweeter and slightly stiffer icing than Swiss Meringue Buttercream, this is my go to!

Delicious buttercream icing that pipes beautifully!
Beat the softened butter in a stand mixer. Add salt.
Slowly add the powdered sugar a little bit at a time and mix until incorporated
Add the vanilla (or other flavoring)
Slowly add the heavy cream 1 tablespoon at a time and beat on medium-high speed until icing is smooth and fluffy. (Don't OVERMIX to avoid adding air bubbles)
Store in airtight container in the refrigerator for 1 week or in the freezer for 3 months.
